Team Hackney

Team Hackney is Hackney’s local strategic partnership which is dedicated to improving the quality of life for everyone in the borough by bringing together the key people in the public, private, community and voluntary sectors. Its aim is to deliver the goals of the Community Strategy - Hackney’s ten-year vision.

To support delivery of the Community Strategy, the partnership has agreed with Government a three year Local Area Agreement.  The list of LAA indicators and Hackney's Story of Place are available for download here.

Team Hackney is chaired by the elected Mayor of Hackney, Jules Pipe.

Mayor’s Awards Open for Business

The Mayor of Hackney’s Business Awards 2009 have been launched and businesses and entrepreneurs in the borough are invited to enter.

The annual awards, now in their fourth year, are dedicated to recognising and celebrating the excellence and diversity of businesses in the borough.

Nominations close February 23rd 2009.

Hackney residents invited to 2012 jobs roadshows

Roadshows will be held on 26, 27 and 28 November to promote the borough’s one-stop jobs shop ‘On Site Hackney Recruitment Centre’ which gives residents one-to-one advice and support to help find the right job for them.
