The City and Hackney Primary Care Trust was formed on 1st April 2001.  Now in its fifth year, the PCT identifies the following successes:

• We have brought new GPs into the area
• Patients can now get an appointment with a GP within 48 hours
• We have helped surgeries to improve the quality of the care they can offer patients
• We have invested in the Homerton, Hackney’s local hospital, to help patients get the treatment they need fast.
