Review of the Children's Trust Board and Stakeholder Forum

In the context of the new Health and Wellbeing arrangements and the lifting of the statutory requirements by the present Government, the role and priorities of the Children's Trust Board and Stakeholder Forum are currently under review The work of the Children's Trust Board is underpinned by the aim of improving outcomes for children and young people.

Until April 2011 the Board's priorities of improving outcomes for children and young people were set out in the Children and Young People's Strategic Plan, and progress was reviewed annually. The Plan with the young people's version can be downloaded below.

Child Poverty and Family Wellbeing Plan

The Child Poverty and Family Wellbeing Plan is an implementation strand of the Hackney Sustainable Community Strategy. It focuses on what services can do to mitigate the impact of poverty on children and young people's outcomes so that they can thrive regardless of their economic circumstances. It also recognises the importance of services doing what they can to lift families out of poverty by supporting household incomes. This plan implements the recommendations of the Child Poverty and Family Wellbeing cross-cutting review which the Team Hackney Board tasked the Children's Trust Board with undertaking. The recommendations of the review can be downloaded below.
